Francis Mouse in a pink crib. In a small bed a linen mouse sleeps deliciously. The crib is handmade from wood. It was created in a small studio. This family-owned carpentry shop is located in Kurpie. The shape is reminiscent of the old toys my grandmother used to play with as a child. I, that is Zuza, am responsible for the color and careful finishing, as well as the choice of fabric, shipping and all the rest:) I use products from Autentico. These are excellent quality chalk paints that are odorless, water-based and contain a lot of chalk. I apply many, many layers and sand with very fine paper. In this way, I even out the surface and achieve a small thinning and aging effect. The final step is to apply wax and lightly polish. This crib is in a delicate pink color.All my work is slow and thorough and it makes the furniture extremely smooth and velvety to the touch. The crib comes with a mattress, pillow, quilt and raspberry steamed wool blanket. The bedding was sewn by my mother. A mouse sleeps in the cribs. It was sewn by Alicia. It has eyes, nose, face and whiskers embroidered and a tail attached from a string. The mouse is sewn by hand, wonderful in every detail. She was dressed in one-piece pajamas. The bodysuit is fastened at the front with a snap and is removable. The fabrics used to sew the bedding and clothing are from the Liberty of London collection.
